We’re moving. And we need your help.

Donate now and help keep more children in their families. 100% will help fund a new and bigger space for Abide!

Why do we need to move?

Rooms flooding, walls falling down, mud everywhere, clients getting lost trying to find us, an office full to the brim with our amazing staff trying to work….we’re getting a bit desperate over here… we really need to move!

Abide is growing in tremendous ways. We cannot believe how God has carried us through this crazy year and how you have all come alongside us and been a part of that.

This Christmas we want to ask you for something BIG! Help us move into a brand new compound! We have a gorgeous new place chosen. It’s bigger, brighter, cleaner, and more accessible. Moving into this place will allow us to grow and serve more and more families with excellence [not to mention it would make our staff’s job way easier and bless them big!]

How it Works

We’ve broken it down room by room so you can donate to whichever room you most connect with. If we reach our goal and move, we will hang a plaque in each room which includes the names of everyone who donated $50.00 or more towards that room.

This will be a tangible reminder to us of all the wonderful people who helped get us there.

Adult Classroom
This room is where parents come three times a week to learn about parenting, business, and Jesus. In this room lives are transformed and families are empowered to stay together.
Child Development Center
While their parents work and learn, the kids attend our Child Development Center for fun and educational activities. The best part is they get to go home with their parents at 5:00 each day!
Nurse’s Station
Sometimes our families get sick and we are able to help them by offering subsidized medical care. We also offer training on nutrition and hygiene to our families.
With a compound full to bursting with staff, families, and kids, we have a lot of mouths to feed! The kitchen allows us to provide nutritious and filling meals to our families each day.
It takes a lot of people to offer quality and holistic care to our families. The office is where our administrators, social workers, pastor, income generating director, and interns work.
Stitched Together
For parents who are not interested in business and want a different option we offer tailoring training. Our Stitched Together program also produces beautiful products that provide an income for moms and support Abide.
We believe in being able to provide for the unique needs of every client we serve. In order to do this effectively we need a counseling room where we can meet one on one with clients and give them the attention and privacy they deserve.

Interns and guest room
We are blessed to have amazing interns and guests visit us throughout the year. The guest rooms provide a comfortable place for them to stay while they are with us and provide income to Abide.
Donor Spotlight

In July of this year Co-Founder, Megan Parker, lost her grandfather- Somerville “Spud” Parker. He was a supporter of Abide since the day it was dreamed up.

To honor the loss of such an incredible teacher, friend, father, grandfather, and husband the Parker family asked people to donate to Abide in his honor. A portion of these funds will go towards the adult classroom where hundreds of parents will learn valuable skills that will allow their families to stay together. A teacher by profession and family man at home we cannot think of a better way to honor his legacy.
